Lemonade med kollagen

Lemonade has always been a favorite with us, and by adding fresh ginger to the traditional lemonade, you create a refreshing and invigorating drink that is perfect for the warm and brighter days of the season.

Ingredients:

  • The juice of 4-5 lemons
  • 1 large ginger root, peeled and sliced
  • 1 cup sugar (or more to taste)
  • 6 cups water
    Ice cubes
  • Fresh mint leaves for garnish (optional)
  • 1 scoop of collagen powder from Copenhagen Health

Procedure:

  1. Start by making the ginger syrup: In a saucepan, combine the ginger slices and sugar with 2 cups of water. Bring to a boil, then simmer for about 10-15 minutes, until the sugar has dissolved and the ginger has released its flavor.
  2. When the ginger syrup is ready, remove it from the heat and let it cool slightly.
  3. Squeeze the juice from the lemons and pour it into a large pitcher or bowl.
  4. Add the ginger syrup to the lemon juice and stir well.
  5. Add the rest of the water to the lemon-ginger mixture and stir well again.
  6. Taste and adjust the sweetness with more sugar if necessary.
  7. Store the lemonade in the refrigerator until it is cold enough to serve.
  8. Serve the lemonade in a glass filled with ice cubes and garnish with fresh mint leaves, if desired.
